Excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to assist in estimating and budget formulation functions. Estimation will include: cost, risk, schedule, performance, staffing, sizing, risk, etc. Work will also involve gathering information towards other deliverables and work products such as Life Cycle Cost Model (LCCM), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) Cost Benefits Analysis (CBA), Analysis of Alternative (AoA), Activity Based Costing (ABC), sensitivity analysis to include the development of sensitivity, tornado and spider charts etc.
Required Skills
A Senior Analyst is an exempt resource who typically contributes to the gathering of information used for assessments (front end) and evaluations (back end); often participating in or assisting with data collection and research activities. Must be customer and results oriented with the ability to work independently
Required Experience
One of the following education/experience combinations:
Non-degreed and 5
years of project control experience
BA/BS Degree and 3
years of project control experience
Current Customs badge or ability to obtain one
Detailed level experience with tools such as the Crystal Ball or @risk for cost simulation, Risk Plus or @risk for schedule simulation. COCOMOII, R2, COSTAR, SEER SEM or similar tools for the software cost estimation
Ability to develop highly complex cost, schedule and risk models
Ability to size software via the function point or other recognized methods
Ability to develop cost and schedule risk adjusted models via the Monte Carlo simulation and generate and customize appropriate reports
Understanding of statistics and economic concepts is highly desirable
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
