The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) seeks a Software Build Engineer to create and manage custom applications for software deployment and tool integration, improve existing product build and integration system, and maintain and enhance software build infrastructure for various product lines. The Software Build Engineer will work independently and as a member of a team in an Agile environment to ensure timely, complete and correct deployments of software applications into test and production environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minimum of five years of relevant development experience
Experience in configuration management and version control with tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN along with knowledge of different branching and merging strategies
Experience using scripting tools such as Ant, Nant and PowerShell
Experience using Continuous Integration tools such as TeamCity or CruiseControl
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 2003/2008), SMTP, IIS and networking protocols
Experience troubleshooting coding issues with a working knowledge of C#, Java, SQL and Oracle stored procedures
Experience with configuring web services is desired
Skills:
Excellent analytic skills used to investigate deployments, diagnose problems and provide corrections as necessary
Excellent communication skills to clearly share ideas orally and through written reports, business correspondence, technical documentation and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers
Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed and provide after-hours support to meet project deadlines

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
