HealthCore's projects range from retrospective to large-scale, prospective studies in the areas of drug, vaccine, and medical device safety surveillance, risk management, pharmacoepidemiology, health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, and comparative effectiveness research.
The Director, Provider Outreach and Business Development will be responsible for leading the expansion of HealthCore's Research Environment by building and maintaining relationships with provider systems, ultimately allowing the integration and use of clinical data into HealthCore's research environment. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develops and manages HealthCore's strategic plan surrounding expansion of the Research Environment including value offerings, legal and regulatory management, and long range goal planning.
Establishes practice guidelines for developing collaborative relationships with external entities, negotiating the terms of the agreements, and establishing the processes for the sharing of data and other information.
Targets and solicits provider institutions and other potential data partners to expand HealthCore's Research Environment.
Manages and maintains relationships with data partners to ensure effective value demonstration and customer satisfaction.
Engages HealthCore leadership and technical staff as needed to support the partnerships.
Builds relationships with public and private strategic partners to support HealthCore's research capabilities.
Serves as a liaison between the strategic partners and HealthCore, ensuring that relationships are maintained.
Serves as a mentor to other HealthCore staff engaged in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships.

Qualifications:
This position requires a Masters Degree in Public Health, Administration, or other closely-related field. Requires10 -15 years of progressively-responsible experience in health insurance, managed care or health care consulting. Extensive knowledge of health provider business interests and research design is required.
