We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Delivery Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in the Finance industry. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in a variety of tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of our IT services. The Service Delivery Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that our IT services meet or exceed the needs of our clients, while also ensuring that these services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will:
1. Plan, develop, implement, and maintain IT services that meet or exceed the needs of our clients.2. Collaborate with various teams to design and implement new system architecture.3. Monitor and manage the performance of our IT services, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.4. Ensure the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and related hardware and software.5. Respond to and resolve service issues, ensuring minimal disruption to our clients.6. Prepare and present reports on the performance of our IT services to key stakeholders.7. Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT service delivery, and make recommendations for how these could be applied to our organization.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Service Delivery Engineer position will have:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Finance industry.3. Strong experience with Microsoft Server Administration.4. A solid understanding of network administration and network engineering.5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues.6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.7. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.8. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.9.
