POSITION Overview:
Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Mobile Comms Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience in 3G, 4G, or 5G technologies to support the Deputy Chief Information Officer for Command, Control, & Communications (DCIO C3) located out of the Mark Center in Falls Church, VA. The DCIO C3 is responsible for developing policy and strategy for communications across the Department of Defense (DoD). The person in this role will assist the DCIO C3 with management, development, and maintenance of the department-wide roadmap for mobility communications technology modernization. POSITION
Responsibilities:
Collaborate across DoD cross-department teams and 3G, 4G, and 5G technology evaluations to influence standards development. Develop 5G technology standards contributions and gain submission approval in standards meetings such as 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and other Standards Development Organizations in order to influence 5G technology development. Assist and prepare presentations for senior DoD leadership as well as prepare and conduct meetings for the Principal Director. Help advance 5G technology development and adoption. Identify new uses for 5G networks and 5G capable systems. Conduct 5G Vulnerability assessments. Assist in test and evaluation of 5G technologies. Engage with interagency, international, regulatory, and industry partners to help influence 5G technology standards and policies. REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION/
Experience:
Possess an active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Master's degree in a related discipline. 10
years of related work experience in mobile communications Experienced within the field of advanced communications/wireless technologies. In-depth understanding of RF technologies and uses of the RF spectrum. Comfortable interacting with senior leadership from both within the DoD and industry. Demonstrated ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to solve uniquely complex problems. DESIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE (NOT REQUIRED):
Knowledgeable of the government contract acquisition processes. Knowledgeable of the DoD joint development processes.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
