Coordinates laundry services with Corporate Laundry Supervisor, manages various contracted service providers.
Job DutiesProvides leadership across Environmental Services department by being a role model and maintaining effective communication with feedback from employees across the departments.
Encourages feedback from, maintains relations with, and monitors commitment of providing highest quality of service to customers, including residents, family, guests, employees, internal customers, and partners/suppliers.
Mentors ES manager on effectively assisting employees with personal growth, training and utilizing job skills.
Monitors and completes monthly Quality Improvement documentation.
Is a member of both the Quality Improvement Committee and Safety Committee.
Oversees maintenance of daily linen supplies.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree highly preferred or high school diploma with equivalent work experience required in environmental services within a healthcare setting.
Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience required, preferably in a retirement community or healthcare setting.
Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ADP.
Minimum of 3 years' experience required in developing and managing operating and staffing budgets.
Accredited with Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) or in the process of obtaining credential or equivalent.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
