RN Mobile Director of Nursing / Long Term Care
RN - Mobile Director of Nursing - Long Term CareCommuniCare Health Services owns and operates over 95 facilities in 7 states, with 25 Maryland and Virginia locations.
CommuniCare is currently recruiting an experienced DON to assume the role of Mobile Director of Nursing for the CommuniCare family of health care companies Maryland and Virginia facilities.
The Mobile DON will be required to travel to the various facilities as needed.
The position of Mobile Director of Nursing provides leadership to the nursing staff at multiple facilities to assure that care standards are met and the highest degree of resident care is provided at all times.
The position must function as a team member, team leader, and supervisor to ensure that work is accomplished and quality care is delivered, supporting team members, and leading the way in celebrating team successes.
While focusing on planning, organizing, developing and assisting the overall operation of the Nursing Department, the position must also manage the resources within his/her control and assist others in managing resources.
The Mobile Director of Nursing will be responsible to:
Evaulate facility compliance to clinical policy, procedure, and careVisit facilities weekly for intervention, audit, and trainingTrain new nursing managementMonitor readiness for State Survey and assist during surveysAid in Plan of Correction processThe successful candidate for the Mobile Director of Nursing position must have a current Registered Nurse license.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience as a Director of Nursing is required.
The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and oversee functions at multiple facilities.
Travel will be required, and candidates must be willing to travel for an extended time to any facility in the region as needed.
