Intrusion Prevention Systems/ Proxy Lead (IPS)

, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation Company, is looking for an experienced IPS/Proxy Lead.
The IPS/Proxy Lead will provide the following support:
Conduct activities in network forensics and technical profiling analysis as well as malware and binary analysis reverse engineering.
Conduct digital forensics analysis of various devices and static and dynamic media.
Network Forensics and Technical Profiling Analysis:
Analyze datasets such as operating system logs, firewall logs, and server logs using network theory and data mining concepts to reveal relationships, patterns, trends, statistics, link analysis, timeline analysis, and data visualization techniques.
Technical profiling analyzing digital services, user accounts, and network data to provide operational assessments such as signature attribution, technical capability, network surveys, anti-forensic methods detection, and system change detection.
Malware Analysis/Binary Analysis Reverse Engineering:
Technical effort focused on determining if a piece of software is malicious, how it functions, its level of complexity, the impact of its implementation, if a piece of electronic equipment was tampered, and if a piece of electronic equipment was loaded with malicious software.
Conduct quality/peer reviews on all deliverables prior to being furnished to the client.
Required Skills US Citizen Minimum vetting Tier 5(T5)-Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) 5
years of experience with operations and management of Palo Alto Hardware and products to include Next generation Firewalls, Panorama, SSL Decrypt, Threat Prevention, URL Filter, and Wildfire.
DOD 8570 IAT III Certifications-IA Workforce (IAW) and Computing Environment (CE) certification.
Knowledge of post-intrusion analysis of digital media to determine threat intelligence Capable of conducting digital forensics analysis of various devices and static and dynamic media Must be detail-oriented to document process, findings, and conclusion Must be able to think critically in order to make intelligence analysis judgments Demonstrated skills to perform all required duties Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work responsibly and independently with minimal direct supervision Required Experience Experience with standard MS Office suite products and SharePoint Experience working in or supporting the Department of Defense Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree; prefer a discipline in Computer Engineering Desired Certifications:
CISSP or Security
