A Cyber Security Engineer A$ cents A cents ' not A cents EUR oe Endpoint is responsible for evaluating, recommending, engineering, architecting, deploying, configuring, tailoring, optimizing, integrating, instrumenting, operating, monitoring, maintaining, tuning, troubleshooting, remediating, securing, documenting, and obtaining/maintaining an ATO for the systems providing cybersecurity protection to the customer endpoint platforms (workstations, laptops, mobile device, and servers).
The Cyber Security Engineer A$ cents A cents ' not A cents EUR oe Endpoint will adhere to the customerA$ cents A cents ' not A cents cents s system development life cycle (SDLC) artifacts and control gates.
Ultimately, they are responsible for ensuring that the system achieves the protection outcomes desired by the customer.
This is a billable position to a US Government client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Design and refine the McAfee Endpoint Suite (HBSS) system system architecture Design and refine the Tanium Endpoint system architecture Define and refine the Microsoft Windows Defender system architecture Evaluate and recommend new endpoint protection solutions, such as EDR and XDR to augment or replace the legacy technologies Deploy newly acquired technologies for functionality, availability, performance, capacity, and security Integrate all Endpoint technologies into a seamless Enterprise Endpoint Security Architecture Integrate the Enterprise Endpoint Security Architecture seamlessly into the other Enterprise Enforcement Point (Firewalls, SIEM, GRC, IPS) Security Architectures to form a single Enterprise Security Fabric protecting the customerA$ cents A cents ' not A cents cents s entire IT enterprise Manage production instances of all technologies Manage capacity demands of all systems Secure all IT assets that are part of the Enterprise Endpoint System Architecture Run vulnerability scans of all system assets with ACAS.
Ensure STIG-ing of all system assets.
Review IAVAs from CISA.
Manage PO&AM process for future system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
Perform evaluations of market technologies to assess their value over current technologies Recommend technologies of significant value that improve or fill gaps in the current protection Respond to customer requests for status, knowledge transfer, recommendations, advice, reports Maintain OEM certifications required for technical expertise (EG McAfee, Tanium, Microsoft, Others) Requirements:
Elastic Certified Engineer, Elastic Certified Analyst, Red Hat Certified Engineer, Security

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
