Maintains Resident/guest privacy and confidentiality by protecting all personal information.
Familiar with emergency and safety procedures for your role.
Adheres to AKA Image Requirements policy.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the overall standards of cleanliness and presentation of all common areas meet AKA standards.
Areas such as:
exterior walkways, hallways, stairwells, elevators, lobby levels, trash compactor rooms, electric rooms, business center, fitness center, restrooms, massage rooms, health club, pool area, etc.
(Areas may be limited based on location).
Assist the housekeeping team with waste removal and running linens/amenities to the resident rooms.
Supports Room Attendant in stripping linens and removing trash from vacant rooms as assigned and their carts.
Collects dirty linen from departed suites and transports to laundry department/collection bins.
If requested, inventory condition of room furnishing using the AKA Furnished Inventory and Condition Checklist as needed; communicate to immediate Supervisor and/or designated team member any damage caused by the resident.
Document service requests when needed and report to immediate Supervisor.
Communicates with resident in a professional and friendly manner in compliance with AKA service standards.
Utilizes chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all material safety data sheets.
Distributes clean bath and bed linen from laundry delivery area to stock rooms.
Keeps stock rooms clean and organized at all times, removing any garbage.
Delivers irons, ironing boards, roll-a-ways, cribs, etc.
to guest suite upon request.
Completes all room calls in a timely manner.
Picks up and returns to storage any previously used guest requests found in suites or hallways.
Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Demonstrated energetic, self-motivated with a can do positive attitude.
Proficiency in English (written and oral) preferred.
Preferred background in Housekeeping.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent.
Minimum of one year of housekeeping experience preferred.
Flexibility with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays is a must.
Meticulous attention to detail.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to push/pull up to 75 pounds as needed.
Sits, stands, bends, stretches, lifts items and moves intermittently during working hours.
