Mid Business Analyst
Job Description:
This individual will be responsible for interacting with the application team or across multiple application teams and with clients on a daily basis to perform functional& technical requirements analysis, documentation, and validation for new and existing software development.
Will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle as changes and enhancements to the system are implemented, and will create new or update existing user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and other supporting documentation.
This individual will also assist in the preparation of weekly status reports and presenting status updates to the team and client.
As needed, the analyst will help product owners prioritize development tasks and stories, facilitate scrum ceremonies, remove team impediments, and coordinate with other scrum teams to deliver high quality products.
Required Skills:
o 6
years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree is required.
Commensurate experience for educationo 4
years of direct work experience in a business analysis capacity, including all aspects of business process and requirement elicitation, documentation, and testingo 2
years of working experience as an Agile Business Analysto Experience analyzing and documenting system capability, conducting requirements gathering sessions and analyzing data to identify issues or questionso Experience providing recommendations to product owners/managemento Knowledge of Software Development Agile Frameworks, including Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanbano Experience developing requirements documentation such as:
User Stories, System Requirements, Use Cases (Gherkin method preferred) and Acceptance Criteriao Understanding of Screen and User Interface designs (wireframes), Front End Test Documentation (Sprint Review), User Guides/Online Help documentation, Release Notes, End User Communication, and Training materials o Expertise in JIRA and Confluence, and IBM Rationale Suite - including ClearQuesto Proficient in Microsoft Suite:
Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint; and Adobe Online Help Tools Preferred Skills:

years of professional experience as a Scrum Mastero Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with a demonstrated ability to develop presentation materials, lead and facilitate team meetings sessions o Possess exceptional client and stakeholder relationship skillso Ability to manage competing priorities, and continue to meet all deadlines, while remaining flexible with continually changing prioritieso Be motivated, flexible, and a team player Recommended Skills Adobe Agile Methodology Business Analysis Business Processes Confluence Gherkin Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
