The GPS Digital Customer offering helps public sector and higher education clients transform their businesses and customer interactions through innovative digital experiences.
We work with our clients to create, design and deploy digital products that increase adoption and drive measurable results.
Work You Will Do:
You will be joining a team of engineers tasked with building applications whose goal is to help citizens understand and take advantage of higher education opportunities.
The front end is built using NextJS (React), with integrations with WordPress and back-end APIs.
We've also built and are managing a bespoke design system which is scaling across projects.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to build and deliver custom-built software solutions Develop responsive web front-end code using JavaScript libraries such as React and other top tier development technologies Serve clients by building applications quickly & efficiently consume APIs and meet demanding performance and security requirementsCreate a modularized set of front-end components that make it easier to maintain and reuse for future capabilities and applicationsBe a flexible, self-starter, to work independently and complete tasksExchange knowledge and work together to implement solutions across the full stackIncorporate new technologies and tools to strengthen and sharpen your skillsThis is a hands-on role with extensive involvement in developing, implementing, operating, and enhancing productsQualifications Required:
Mastered understanding of software tools and the ability to be a conduit between engineering/client leadership and engineering direction Experience with React.
js and strong component-based design involvement Experience writing data driven tests, mocking, and unit tests in each layer Experience cloning, branching, committing, and submitting pull requests with Git Experience coding microservices (any language) Preferred:

years of hands-on experience developing single page web applications and writing JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, CSS 1
years of leadership experience - mentoring and monitoring the contributions of others Java backend development
Experience:
