defense and intelligence agencies, has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia!The Executive Assistant will support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Mission Integration, an SES Tier II, within the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).
Mission Integration is responsible for conducting mission engineering, analysis, and integration activities to produce objective insights and analytic justification to inform future technology and capability development.
This position will be located in Washington, DC at the Pentagon.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

You will provide executive-level management support to the DASD for Mission Integration.

Manage and maintain the DASDs daily calendar and schedules.
Coordinate with other senior government personnel, Congressional members and staff, industry, and academia to resolve conflicting schedule priorities.

Prepare and provide a daily read-ahead book for the DASD with information for the following day and significant upcoming activities.

Coordinate and manage the DASDs official travel.
Prepare travel authorizations and vouchers in the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Plan, coordinate, and confirm logistical support for the DASDs meetings to include security clearances, conference room reservations, visitor escorts, and audio-visual support.

Manage official correspondence through Correspondence and Task Management (CATMS).
Review documents for grammar and content.

Coordinate office administrative functions for Mission Integration personnel including office security administration, office space management, security clearance and visit requests, scheduling office events, and ordering office supplies.

Assist in the coordination for onboarding and offboarding of Mission Integration personnel.

Qualifications:

10
years' of relevant work experience supporting Senior Executives, General Officers, Flag Officers, or Chief Executive Officers.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.

Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Executive presence with highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-starter, able to take initiative and accomplish work independently with minimal guidance.

Experience with DTS and CATMS.
Desired Requirements:

OSD, Joint Staff, and/or Service Staff experience.

Knowledge of the OUSD(R&E) organization, roles, and responsibilities.
Education Requirements:

High School Diploma with 10
years' of related experience.

Bachelor's degree.
Clearance Requirements:

Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
