(MTSI) is seeking a subject matter expert (SME) Engineering Analyst , to support and lead our Engineering Analyst (EA) group's technical efforts.
This highly specialized team is conducting significant multiphysics modeling and simulation (M&S) development & application and integral ground testing to support hypersonic system development in multiple areas.
You will work on-site at MTSI's Alexandria HQ office and report directly to the Mission Operations Analysis Business Unit (MOA BU) EA supervisor.

Responsibilities:
As a subject matter expert (SME) Engineering Analyst , with MTSI you will support and lead our Engineering Analyst (EA) group's technical efforts.
This highly specialized team is conducting significant multiphysics modeling and simulation (M&S) development & application and integral ground testing to support hypersonic system development in multiple areas.
You will work on-site at MTSI's Alexandria HQ office and report directly to the Mission Operations Analysis Business Unit (MOA BU) EA supervisor.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Using multiple tools you will develope new methods and capabilities (including patentable technology) to support analysis, design and survivability of hypersonic systems across the MTSI enterprise and for multiple US government (USG) customers.
Supporting and leading the engineering analyst (EA) group to execute the plans and producing required data and results.
Assessing customer problems and translating customer problems into analysis and test plans.
You will working with USG customers to create new projects, working with high tech suppliers and partners to find new methods and apply them and participation at conferences and workshops to stay at the leading edge is required.
Travel is required to other MTSI sites, USG and conference sites.
Apply applications of this M&S and testing capabilities to other regimes other than hypersonics.
Qualifications:
3
years' related work experience.
Experience in one or more of the following technical areas is required:
Hypersonics Multiphysics/CFD M&S Ground test Flight test Innovation Experience working with Operations Analysis (OA) SMEs and M&S to inform program requirements.
Experience and interest in coordinating, building and working with multidisciplinary teams including MTSI other-site SMEs, outside suppliers/partners, academia, contractors, test facilities and USG organizations.
Experience in one or more of the following technical business areas:
Working with customers to develop new programs.
Experience with technical project leadership Experience and interest in executing Program Mgmt tasks including program planning, financial and reporting; executing customer and IRAD projects.
Effective technical, programmatic and strategic interaction with MTSI management.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or related field.
Mater's Degree in engineering, or related field, (DESIRED).
Clearance Requirements:
Eligible for a Secret clearance to start.
Top Secret (TS) clearance / Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) experience, (Desired).
