Work you'll do Support client audit readiness efforts in accordance with GAAP and FASAB Draft accounting research papers, standard operating procedures, and flowcharts Design and implement technical solutions to improve financial management activities Work with clients to identify financial control issues and gaps Assist with accounting and financial reporting operations Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract Review deliverables for accuracy and quality Provides coaching to junior staff Contribute to new business proposals and proposal development The team Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact.

Qualifications Required:
Consulting experience in any of the following areas:
business process improvement, financial management policies and procedures, financial system integrations, etc.

years of experience improving internal control objectives or government accounting and transaction processes, IT Controls related to FIAR, ICAM, and Federal Information Systems Control Audit Manual (FISCAM) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology/Systems, Business, Finance or another Business-related field Travel up to 20% Preferred:
Familiarity with U.

government financial accounting systems Certifications including CPA, CDFM, CGFM, CFA, CIA The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $64,000 to $105,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
