Principal Network Engineer


Responsibilities:
oProvide architecture/engineering expertise for network implementations, cloud environment integrations, project designs, and standards development, as well as onboarding new tenants oProvide administration/support for intelligent DNS routing between enterprise locations/data centers, as well as plan and implement upgrades (includes installation of new equipment) oImplement approved authentication and certificate management controls oUse caching (static html content) for the enterprise infrastructure environment (hardware, software, and configuration components) and supported tenants oSupport deployment options oConfigure self IPs, port lockdown, and network routes oConfigure remote logging to Splunk oAdhere to change management processes and procedures oTroubleshoot, configure, upgrade, maintain, and monitor the load balancer network architecture (performance, configurations, traffic flow, application monitoring, CPU capacity/utilization) oAnalyze network alarms and identify sources oCoordinate with on-site support personnel while troubleshooting oUse enterprise service management tools to initiate, respond, and track service requests oCreate reports and analyze performance metrics oDevelop processes/procedures and related engineering documentation for troubleshooting and quickly identifying issues oPerform reach back to OEM Vendors to de-conflict operational issues with known operating system bugs and security alerts oPartner with the information security personnel to assess potential exposure to vulnerabilities, identify mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with enterprise security baselines and standards oEvaluate modern technologies to optimize network efficiency and review/provide recommendations to improve the network oInform management in a clear, concise, and timely manner of any customer or technical issues oBe responsive and decisive on adjusting architecture as customer requirements and technology evolves Required
Qualifications:
o5
years primary role operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches o5
years primary role directly designing, architecting routed and switched networks up to and including enterprise sized networking solutions.
o2
years as senior or lead engineer in planning, designing, and building software defined networks o3
years DoD environment oAt least one nationally recognized certification for senior network administrators/engineers/architects tied to the proposed solution's routers and switches oIAT Level III in accordance with DoD 8570.
01-M oIAT Level III certification oBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering or Equivalent; Master's degree preferred oConfiguring and installing various network devices and services oMonitoring network performance and resource utilization, trending, capacity planning oUse of current and emergent network design principles and protocols oExperience with network virtualization technologies Experience with multi-tenant network architectures oFamiliarity with a width variety network routing and switching equipment devices from multiple vendors oScripting languages such as Pearl, Python, coding for network threshold events.
oActive or current Secret clearance Recommended Skills Administration Architecture Caching Capacity Planning Change Management Computer Networks Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
