Acquisition Analyst, Mid Support a senior Defense client as an Action Officer by applying comprehensive knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System to support customers in the analysis and improvement of acquisition policy, process, and proceduresDevelop recommendations and execute plans applying acquisition expertise in response to statutory, regulatory, and policy updatesDevise innovative strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementationContribute to the development of innovative principles and ideasWork on unusually complex problems and provide solutions that are highly creativeServes as organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programsBasic
Qualifications:

years of experience supporting defense acquisition policy analysis at a Service Headquarters, Component Headquarters, Defense or Field Operating Agency, Major Subordinate Command, Numbered Air Force, Numbered Fleet, Army Corps, Program Executive Office, Joint Staff, or OSD level -Experience working with senior government executives and staff -Experience as an OSD, Service HQ, or Joint Staff Action Officer, including developing, coordinating, publishing, and implementing issuances and department-level policies, engaging on Congressional and GAO taskers, and facilitating OSD correspondence and task management -Experience with DoD 5000 series policies, the Defense Acquisition Guidebook, and OSD acquisition policies, instructions, memoranda, and guidance -Awareness of acquisition pathways, the adaptive acquisition framework, and NDAA defense acquisition guidance -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills -TS/SCI clearance -BA or BS degree Additional

-Experience as a project manager, action officer, policy, or program analyst in DoD -Experience with acquisition management for a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) -Experience with supporting multiple projects and activity simultaneously -Experience with developing, evaluating, and adjudicating acquisition strategies, performing analyses, developing and editing documentation, and applying Defense Acquisition System expertise Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Communication Editing Policy Analysis Sensitive Compartmented Information (Sci Clearance) Task Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
