ObjectiveResponsiveTrustedResponsibilities In this role you will report directly to SPA's Director of Growth for Homeland Security and Federal Civilian MarketsYou will assist Executives, Senior Managers and their Portfolio Leads with growth activities including opportunity identification, business development, capture management, proposal development, pipeline growth, strategic positioning, customer relations, industry networks, and the development of market insights on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing and contract vehicle choices to improve win ratesYou will assist the development of market research to include customer preferences, competitive analysis, and incumbent strengths and weaknessesYou will assist teaming arrangements to bring the best capabilities to any competitionYou must develop relationships with line staff, management, and business development peers across the company to assist the development of coherent responses to RFIs, compelling white papers, and persuasive proposalsYou will assist the development and delivery of executive presentations for gate/capture approvals and proposal artifactsYou will support the development of after-action reviews for business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actionsQualifications Required Qualifications:
o Possesses a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Government contracting at the Department of Homeland Security or other Federal Civilian agencies.
o Significant experience performing internet research analysis to comprehensively provide responses that address information needsProactive, clear communicator who prioritizes respectful communications and values establishing solid relationships with line, management, and peers.
o Self-motivated with high attention to detail and maintains superior standards for quality of work and h igh proficiency with Microsoft Office applications in presenting ideas, information, and reports
Qualifications:
o Previous understanding or experience in government contracting with the Department of Homeland Security and/or Federal Civilian agencies for programs that require technical advisory, analytical, consulting, or SETA support services.
o Experience supporting, or exposure to, business development and capture efforts in support of government contracts.
o Previous experience with analytical tools such as Deltek GovWinIQ and Bloomberg Government.
o Spreadsheet, data visualization, and dash-boarding skillso Active US Government Security Clearance.
