Interior Designer/Project Manager

As an Interior Designer/Project Manager you will collaborate with our industry thought leaders in design, sustainability, and architectural innovation! We are looking for an individual experienced in actively working on interior projects and directing project teams.
This position requires outstanding communication skills as there will be significant contact with the client, tenants, contractors, consultants, city agencies and the in-house team.
The candidate must have excellent programming and space planning skills and be familiar with the tenant planning process.
This person must also have a good understanding of building accessibility codes, exiting and life/safety requirements in various building types.

:
Serve as main point of contact for project accounts, manage client expectations and meetings.
Oversee the project team and relevant consultant to assure smooth project delivery.
Work within project schedules to prioritize tasks and coordinate the completion of documentation required from initial design phase through final project completion.
Actively collaborate with marketing and design principals and business development teams in pursuits by authoring fee proposals, generating project work plan, and participating in project interviews.
Complete project accounting tasks such as setting up new projects and reviewing monthly billing projections and invoicing.
Participate in weekly staffing meetings and coordinating workflow planning with staffing coordinator and project teams.
Motivate and inspire design teams to create design solutions with enduring impact though original insight that elevate HGAs design excellence.
Works with Architectural and Interior Design team to develop the interior design solutions for projects ranging from workplace, higher education, and other community and commercial buildings.
Research materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.
Collaborate and communicate effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary team members.
You will need to have:
:
Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited Interior Design/Interior Architecture program or related field.

years of progressive professional experience.
Professional licensure and/or certification required.
Ability to oversee and be responsible for project delivery.
Knowledge of:
interior design concepts, materials, and furnishing requirements including concepts, practices, standards and principles; thorough understanding of the technical process for large and small-scale interiors projects; building materials, specifications, and construction techniques; applicable codes (city, state, federal); and finish materials, FF&E selection and specification, interior design components for millwork / casework and construction detailing.
Proficiency in Revit required; Experience with 3D visualization tools such as Enscape or SketchUp highly desired.
Fluent knowledge of adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office suite.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Excellent listening skills.
Ability to anticipate and respond to client needs.
Ability to take initiative, work independently and collaborate within given timelines while integrating a high degree of attention to detail, organization and deadlines.
Ability to be nimble and juggle multiple projects at a time at various points in the design process.

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted.
Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGAs robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs.
Salary Range:
$99,500 - $144,400 Additional Information:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
