VP, Advertising & Events Sales - $165K-$180K base - NOVA
Our client, a professional association, is looking for a Vice President of Advertising and Events Sales for their Alexandria, VA office!
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the advertising and events sales team.
Direct advertising and sponsorship sales initiatives across digital and print outlets.
Spearhead strategic sales exhibit participation at conferences and events.
In collaboration with other departments, develop a strategic outreach plan to increase member engagement and maximize revenue opportunities.
Serve as an industry representative and network with current, past, or potential members to grow corporate relationships.
Collaborate with association leadership on strategic plans and sales/revenue reporting.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, including 5 years managing a team.
Experience with HCM technology sales preferred.
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or another relevant field is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communications.
Ability to manage and mentor a multi-faceted sales team through delegating work and conducting performance reviews.
Position Information:
$170K-$180K base salary plus a bonus and commission structure.
Hybrid schedule, working on-site 3x/week.
Approximately 20%-30% travel for events and client meetings.
