Qualifications:
1-3 years of association experience and/or customer service preferred.
Strong working knowledge and skills in database functionalities to include query production and filter application to yield desired results; production of custom reports in varied forms.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments with minimal supervision.
Ability to successfully perform working collectively with a team.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access), including mail merge required.
Familiarity of web-based member management systems.
REPORTS TO:
Director, Member Services and Database Operations (MSD) BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist the MSD to develop and implement, track and measure individual membership recruiting, retention and lapse recapture campaigns, and product and program marketing campaigns, while managing within budgeted expenses.
Assist with all member services functions; including but not limited to supporting and responding to telephone and email inquiries; and ensuring accurate input of member data entry.
The Member Services and NAHS/NJAHS Coordinator also assists with programming and support for the National Art Honor Society and National Junior Art Honor Society (NAHS/NJAHS) programs.
GENERAL
Responsibilities:
Member Services:
1.
Support the Member Services and Database Operations Manager in providing a positive member experience from recruitment through retention - both in verbal and written communications.
2.
Provide customer service support, including email correspondence; inbound and outbound calling; and conflict resolution.
Provide support for efficient and accurate entry of member data into the membership database.
NAHS/NJAHS Program:
1.
Provide support and Collaborate with the Youth and Preservice Program Manager (YPPM) for the NAHS/NJAHS programs including retention and recruitment efforts; identifying new society benefits; and testing marketing strategies to grow enrollments.
2.
Manage the bi-annual NAHS Newspublication.
3.
Monitor NAHS/NJAHS product line merchandise and place personalized banner orders.
4.
Collaborate with the Youth and Preservice Program Manager (YPPM) to coordinate and schedule NAHS/NJAHS e-communications and mailings.
5.
Provide oversight for efficient and accurate entry of NAHS/NJAHS chapter data into the membership database, including database record clean-up and proper function/maintenance of the new NAHS chapter dashboard/portal.
6.
Manage NAHS/NJAHS complimentary certificate mailing data, print related documents, and package and mail certificates weekly.
7.
Serve as primary customer service support staff for NAHS/NJAHS chapter sponsors, including email correspondence; inbound and outbound calling; and conflict resolution.
8.
Support coordination of the annual NAHS/NJAHS Juried Exhibition.
