Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) provides multiple organizations within the Department of Defense with timely and objective assessments and recommendations that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis.
Our client for this effort is the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).
We have an immediate need for a Senior Program Analyst to support and advise a Government Client in planning, managing, and evaluating programs, operations, and processes as a valued member of our Prime contract team.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have strong interest in obtaining insight into military weapon systems, technologies and related activities; and have the ability to apply appropriate analytical approaches/methodologies to develop conclusions/recommendations.
The candidate will:
Independently conduct research, analyze, and synthesize information from military research and development and/or defense acquisition programs.
Develop and improve upon standard operating procedures and processes for executing program evaluations.
Prepare and present reports and recommendations.
Utilize a database tracking system to monitor and review program performance and execution progress.
Lead and manage client-focused support tasks and functions.
Develop and sustain collaborative team relationships.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree A minimum of 10 years of experience in areas related to arms control treaties and agreements such as policy development, reporting, and verification.
An active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of military systems/hardware, and the missions they enable.
Knowledge of DoD operations, doctrine, and systems.
Knowledge of DoD research, development, test and evaluation, and defense acquisition processes.
Knowledge of Arms Control Treaties & Agreements (e.
g.
Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), Open Skies Treaty (OS), Conventional Forces Europe (CFE) Treaty, etc.
) Recommended Skills Databases Policy Development Research And Development Standard Operating Procedure Consulting Research Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
