Specifically, we are seeking a dynamic executive leader with a proven track record of growing engineering services and technology solutions business.

ResponsibilitiesAs the Senior Director for our Intelligence & Special Programs Business Unit with Modern Technology Solutions, Inc.
(MTSI) you will provide executive leadership to grow MTSI's Intelligence & Special Programs Business Unit engineering services and technology solutions business.
The ideal candidate will be recognized in the industry as a thought leader who has a deep knowledge base of the Intelligence Community and has solid operational and business development leadership abilities.
This position canbe located at MTSI's HQ in Alexandria or Chantilly, VA.
Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
Responsible to meet revenue and profit objectives of National Security Division and Intelligence & Special Programs Business Unit.
Develops, evaluates, and manages business opportunity pipeline, with an emphasis on new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships and alliances.
Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.
Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives.
Defines vision, strategies, and tactics with regard to new business.
Participates in the organization's strategic business planning process.
Ensures operational excellence by Selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the ISP Business Unit.
Must be a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves Operational and Business Development Leader who works directly with customers on large, key opportunities.
Qualifications20
years' experience including leadership roles in at least two of the following areas of specialization:
Intelligence and Space System architectures, capabilities, and technologies.
All-Source Engineering Analysis.
Rapid Prototyping and Testing.
Agile Software Development and Cloud Integration.
Software Engineering.
Operational analysis and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development.
You must deminstrate outstanding interpersonal, communication both oral and written as well as a history of presentation skills to clients and boards.
Ability to open conversations and close deals.
Track record of revenue and profit target achievement.
Demonstrable ability to work in fast-changing environments.
Extensive knowledge of strategic planning, business development, and customer relationships in the National Security sector.
Highly motivated, organized and possessing the ability to multi-task.
Customer-oriented focus.
Ability to build and motivate team.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor or MS degree in hard sciences (mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science) will be considered.
MBA, (DESIRED).
Certification Requirements:
None.
Clearance Requirements:
Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility to start.
Active TS/SCI with advanced tickets and IC credentials, (Desired).
