Support government managers responsible for a major network and systems engineering engagement by providing management, coordination and oversight of their IT operations. This project is transitioning from an operational prototype to an enterprise-deployed system and requires O&M policies, procedures and execution. Demonstrate leadership, initiative and know-how to establish a more structured O&M framework (policy and process) and serve as the operations guru for the government. You must know O&M SOP's cold and be comfortable taking a major system from prototype to a major enterprise solution. You must know best practices in establishing and maintaining efficient O&M, deployments, policies. You must also provide input on how best to architect certain system components so that they scale for the enterprise (i.e., group policies, LDAP, etc.). As the O&M lead, assist in planning and justification of SOP approaches to senior government leadership.
Requirements:
- Operations and Maintenance expertise
-Data Center management
- Experience establishing O&M SOP's
- Experience taking systems from prototype/early stage development to enterprise level deployments
- Experience with large scale CONUS and/or OCONUS network deployments
- Experience with O&M supporting processes such as Configuration Management, logistics, equipment tracking/inventory, etc. -Experience with developing long-term plans that take into account O&M requirements
