research and solutions, is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Summer Intern in our Alexandria, VA office. The Consulting Intern will report to a Senior Consultant, and will work with our Business Advisory
services
group in supporting projects with the Veterans Administration, Military Health System, Centers for Medicaid and Medicare, and commercial clients. Responsibilities:
This internship is designed to offer an exceptional student the opportunity to provide support for ongoing analysis programs and projects in the areas of health policy, health quality assessment, operations research, statistics, business analytics, strategic communications, mathematical programming, or programmatic evaluations.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS in Public Health, Epidemiology, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related degree.
Ability to do web-related research; analyse data using Excel spreadsheets; read, process, and effecticely summarize large documents into digestable slices of information for Altarum staff.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational ability, and familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), as well as the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
An interest in exploring a career in healthcare consulting.
Must be able to receive a U.S. Security Clearance (sole U.S. citizenship required).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
