Description
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a vCAC Virtualization Systems Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Alexandria, VA. Some travel may be required.
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Team working on an exciting forensic processing program in Alexandria, VA or Washington, DC.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with other Administrators and Developers on the Northrop Grumman team that provides operational support for the project solution.
- Architect, Design, and Implement new functionality into the current Infrastructure. This will consist of upgrading the current Virtualized Infrastructure as well as integrating newer technologies into the project Infrastructure.
- Operational support consists of the following: system administration, virtual environment creation and destruction, Data Validation Procedures, and other related activities.
- The project also requires staff to support the operational activities and logistical planning needed for the Computing Center
- The Northrop Grumman team is also responsible for activities associated with Development Support including development of tools needed to automate virtualization and infrastructure management tasks and to develop solutions to
automate or enhance custom forensic/analytic capabilities.
- Work with the CI Technical Lead in providing network and infrastructure support and enhancements.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and 5 years IT experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience being part of small teams engaged in IT related support and development.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in installing, configuring, and administering VMware vSphere 4.x and 5.x in an enterprise environment.
- Experience upgrading VMware ESXi 4.x to vSphere 5.x
- Experience with vCAC and designing a VMware vCloud 5.x Environment.
- Advanced knowledge of virtual environments or cloud computing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS, and Linux OS issues on VMware and Windows Server platforms.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SAN and blade server technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS, and Linux OS issues on VMware and Windows Server platforms.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to document environments and cross train colleagues in support areas.
- Must be able to obtain a High Risk MBI Clearance.(requires US Citizenship)
Preferred
Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
- VCP 5 Certification
- Ability to design an upgrade from VMware vSphere 4.x to VMware vSphere 5.x in a Blade Server architecture.
- HP Blade Server experience.
- NetApp SAN architecture experience.
- XenServer virtualized infrastructure environment experience.
- Position prefers a candidate with a current clearance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
