The Operational Support Analysis Group (OSAG) provides timely and objective assessments to the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics through the Research, Development and Acquisition Task Force.
Responsibilities:
The Operational Support Analysis Group (OSAG) provides timely and objective assessments to the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics through the Research, Development and Acquisition Task Force.
Intern will assist senior analysts, programmers, and lead application developers in developing tools which aid in providing operational analysis and assessments . Working as a member of one or more focused project teams, the intern will be responsible for assisting government customers in the analysis of complex issues related to capability development, warfare analysis, and system acquisition. Duties will include development, implementation and testing of M&S; tools; data mining; statistical analysis; and preparation and presentation of analytical results; assisting analysts in data development and use of the tools to inform ongoing analysis projects.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, or equivalent technical field. The intern will participate in all phases of programming projects including design, implementation, testing, documentation, and presentation of results. A passion for applying analytical methods to address complex problems is required, along with excellent written and oral communications skills. The successful candidate must possess the ability and willingness to multi-task, and be capable of applying innovative programming techniques to solve client problems. In addition, the ability to prepare and present complex ideas (including modeling methodologies and results) in a clear and coherent form before an audience is required. Candidates must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products and experience in computer programming or software development is highly encouraged. DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
