Job Summary
The Talent Manager is a player/coach serving as an example of recruiting excellence for his/her direct reports. S/He is responsible for designing and delivering a recruitment strategy, participating in talent review and workforce planning discussions with his/her clients, as well as managing his/her own requisitions and serving as an example of recruiting excellence for his/her direct reports. S/He will lead and mentor associates, make assessments and recommendations on the latest technology used, manage client projects, and oversee candidate pipeline development. S/He will work with internal and external clients.
Essential Responsibilities
Design and implement recruitment strategy, including conducting quarterly and annual recruiting reviews to client business leaders and senior management.
Provide direction and management of the recruiting team as well as establishing guidelines and procedures concerning staffing best practices and process improvements.
Advise business leaders and senior management on all staffing, sourcing, and recruiting initiatives and keep them apprised of recruitment trends impacting the business, including coaching hiring managers and others involved in the recruitment process.
Determine recruiting effectiveness through reporting and data analysis, including developing reports that track results, detect trends and adjust the strategy to optimize the impact of the team.
Manage own requisition load and full life-cycle recruiting process across a functional group or business unit.
Draft and revise job descriptions/postings and assess candidates against technical competencies.
Develop and manage candidate generation strategies and employment branding through innovative marketing, social media, community, and university involvement.
Partner with vendors to leverage outsourcing opportunities and monitor performance.
Build, cultivate, and sustain an active candidate database within specific talent requirements.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Experience:
5
years recruiting experience leading and/or mentoring recruiting teams as well as improving the recruiting process
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers at all levels of the organization.
Able to manage multiple recruitment plans, assignments, and implement strategy in a fast-paced environment.
Top notch recruiting skills to include robust research and sourcing skills used to identify hard to find talent; executive search experience for corporate roles; and excellent consultation and negotiation skills.
Working knowledge of legal requirements related to recruitment and staffing.
Impeccable written, verbal communication, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
Professional discretion and judgment, and adherence to confidential information
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Proficiency with ATS systems
Familiarity in using social media (Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn) for recruiting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Participate and work in a small team environment and work independently with limited direction at times
Process oriented
An understanding of employment laws and guidelines
MS Office Suite proficiencyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
