Patent and Trademark Law Firm seeks a bilingual IP Docketing Clerk with fluency in Japanese and English.
Position
Summary:
The bilingual IP Docketing Specialist is responsible for recording and monitoring client and legal deadlines, informing responsible attorneys of deadlines in a timely manner, as well as translation support. The selected individual will also be responsible for reviewing USPTO filings for completion and accuracy of format, ensuring that proper payment for government fees is processed, providing system search upon specific request, processing filing receipts, reviewing documents and determining docketing dates for Patent Office litigation.
Qualification
Summary:
Candidate should have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of IP Docketing experience in a law firm. The successful candidate will have the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. Candidate should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Fluency in Japanese and English is required.
