We seek enthusiastic individuals who are motivated, responsible, and have the initiative to make the most of a career at ModernContempo Our Store Managers have the possibility to go on to become Regional Managers and more with Moderncontempo.
Responsibilities
Generate sales through a low pressure consultative approach
Assist with the day to day operations of the store
Motivated to drive sales and ensure goals are being reached
Enjoy engaging customers and uncovering their home furnishing needs helping them make their design vision become a reality
Provide world class customer service and offer customers an unforgettable and consultative shopping experience
Build rapport with clients, earning their business through your ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, exceptional product knowledge, and excellent listening skills
Develop and maintain a customer base through networking and client follow up, to ensure customer satisfaction before and after the sale
Good with social media - Facebook, instagram, twitter, etc
Maintains store appearance by adhering to company visual standards
Provides an exceptional store experience for customers within a fun, professional store environment
Requirements
Energetic, self-motivated sales professional with exceptional interpersonal, listening and communication skills
Ability to network and build relationships with customers
Competitive, goal oriented nature with the ability to work well in a team environment
Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes weekends, and holidays
Basic computer skills
Previous retail or commission based sales are a plus, but not required
Strong organizational skills
Must be able to follow direction and present yourself in a professional manner
Must have own transportation
Must be willing and able to lift furniture weighing 50-75
lb on average on a daily basis
Must be able to work 25 to 35 hours. Weekend availability is a must. Flexible schedule.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
