Summary
PenFed is hiring an Director, Mortgage Projects in Alexandria, VA or Omaha, NE. The primary purpose of this job is to lead the Mortgage Projects unit in the Mortgage Division. ? ? ? This includes working across the Division to establish priorities and working across the Company to ensure initiatives are accomplished ? timely, within budget and achieve the desired benefits. ? ? Developing and maintaining strong relationship across the business, IT, Compliance, Legal and our vendors are critical to the success of the group. The position will manage a team of project managers, business analysts and testers.

Essential Functions
Develop and maintain an initiative prioritization process to ensure it aligns with Division goals.
Develop and execute a communication plan across ? the Division and with key internal and external partners.
Develop and implement ? appropriate project management desciplines including Project Management Professional routines and Agile methodologies. Leverage industry best practices.
Develop and lead change management routines across the Division and Credit Union when appropriate.
Support individual project leadership through issue resolution and removal of roadblocks.
Analyze emerging risks and opportunities that may impact PenFed and present strategies to the Mortgage Division executive team
Establish a vendor oversight program for the Mortgage Division including performance measurements; developing strategies and programs to ensure a high level of vendor efficiency, ? reports results, and identifies opportunities for improved performance

Education and Experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Bachelor s Degree in business or related field required.
Master s Degree in Business Administration is preferred
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in project management is required.
Minimum of five years of mortgage experience required with seven (7) to ten (10) years preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience with seven (7) to ten (10) years preferred
Experience leading Agile Projects
Experience leading large Loan Origination System (LOS) or equivalent ? implementations
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will directly supervise a team of 6 10 project managers, analysts and testers.
Licenses and Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required
Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
