The Leidos Corporation currently has a Logistics Management Analyst opening supporting the Security Engineering Program in its Alexandria, VA location. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Candidate will work in coordination with Program Manager scheduling and tracking of equipment from the warehouse to various customer locations and/or repair locations and throughout each location during the equipment s lifespan. -Candidate will prepare deployment pallets in association with established SOPs and coordinate transport to established destination, based on Project and POC direction. Candidate must be able to assist (e.g.: 2 person) with lifting bulk heavy equipment (approx. 165 lbs) in and out of vehicles, transport equipment to established work location by means of cart or dolly, potentially requiring equipment to be carried up ladders or stairwells, and have experience working within a warehouse environment. -Candidate will coordinate the return of equipment, inspection, and conduct of maintenance and/or repairs as necessary based on return inspection. -Candidate will be required to create equipment inventory logs, status reports, field reports, after action reports, maintain shipping and receiving logs, and work with procurement to track order status, and repair/maintenance issues. -Candidate will work in coordination with Program Manager to follow and update, as required, established SOPs. -Candidate may be required to conduct site surveys and designate equipment needed at deployment locations. -Candidate will make necessary adjustments to sites on deployment to meet the specific needs of the customers with little to no supervision from the Program Manager. - Candidate will work in a warehousing and supply environment with 75% of time spent on customer sites. -Although this is a first shift position, candidates must be willing and able to work other shifts on occasion when the work requires it. Work hours are subject to change to accommodate the needs of the customer. Candidate can expect to be scheduled for some weekends. -Candidate will be issued a Corporate Travel Card and is expected to adhere to all company and program policies regarding use and payment Applicant MUST be flexible and willing to work additional hours or travel within the United States on short notice supporting the customer as required. This position is a part- time position with hours ranging from 15-25 hrs/ week.
Qualifications:
Active Secret security clearance. Valid U.S. driver s license. Ability to lift 80 lbs. Three years experience in logistics/supply management, cargo, and transportation. 2 years verifiable experience in logistics/supply protocols, procedures Supply chain experience, prior warehousing experience. Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
