Business Development Associate
What You'll Do:
Generate interest in Fishbowl's product and services through daily outbound calling in order to schedule qualified sales calls
Manage a territory including a prospect database of Fishbowl users and potential clients on a daily basis
Quickly ascertain prospect needs and qualify potential opportunities
Ensure that prospects clearly understand Fishbowl's value proposition, as well as how to use our products to get that value.
Meet and exceed monthly sales referral and outbound call goals
Work with clients to configure their Fishbowl account and help them send emails when necessary
Educate, encourage, and assist trial customers with setup and use of Fishbowl's email and social media products when necessary
What You'll Need:
You MUST have at least 3 months of proven success in a business development role or sales internship
Specific technical skills are not required, but you must be tech savvy enough to be comfortable with basic setup as use of our product, as well as answering basic support questions
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both via phone and email
The following experience is strongly preferred
Sales in a technology and/or marketing services company
Selling to small businesses
Selling to restaurants
Bachelor's Degree preferred
