Automotive Adjunct

Part-time instructor is needed to teach Automotive at the Alexandris Campus of Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA).
The primary responsibility of a faculty member in the Virginia Community College System shall be to provide quality instruction for the students.
The major emphasis shall be on good teaching by working with students in classrooms, laboratories, individual conferences, and related activities to help the student develop their interests and abilities to their fullest capacity to become a better person, a better worker, and a better citizen.
Duties and Responsibilities Teach courses in the Automotive program which include but are not limited to the following topics:
automotive engines, fuels, power trains, tune-up, alignment and renewable technology.
Teaching schedules may include day, evening or weekend depending on the applicants availability and course offerings.
Contribute to the Automotive Program at the College and Campus level and help place students within the industry.
Job Requirements:
Experience with auto program student recruitment and placement; ASE Master Technician certified; 5 yrs.
of current employment within the automotive field.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
