Who You AreWe are currently looking for a CNA to work as a Care Partner for the (7 am - 3 pm Shift)in the Goodwin House Alexandria Small House where YOU can make a difference in the lives of older adults.
In the Small Houses, 10 residents enjoy living in private rooms, share a common dining area and living areas, and are cared for by 2 CNAs, also known as Care Partners.
The Care Partner will provide care to the residents living in a home.
Their primary role is to protect, sustain, and nurture the residents by providing assistance with activities of daily living, and meeting other needs as required.
The core goal of the work of the Care Partner will be to provide assistance, which promotes quality of life.
The responsibilities of the Care Partner include care of the resident and the residents environment, including cooking, laundry, and housekeeping.
The Care Partner is a member of a Care Partner Support Team and is responsible for coordinating certain aspects of the teams work.
What We Require Current CNA license with the Virginia Board of Nursing Current CPR license At least one year of CNA experience Availability to work the day shift (7 am - 3 pm Shift)and every other weekend Compensation & Benefits At Goodwin House, we offer a competitive starting rate of $17.
75 per hour plus shift differentials! Health/ Dental/ Vision Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance Financial assistance with US Citizenship application Tuition Assistance Paid Time Off 401(k) Plan Fitness Center Eligibility for each benefit is based on employment status.
